Session #1 : Friday February 15th, 6 pm to 1 am
Session #2 : Saturday February 16th, 12 pm to 5 pm
Session #3 : Saturday February 16th, 7 pm to 1 am


What is included with the purchase of a Taster ticket?

Admission to one session and an Ecocup sampling glass.

How much is a BrewBuck worth?

1 BrewBuck = $1.00
On average, a 4 oz beer sample will cost 3-4 brewbucks. Expect more for some rare, special batch and imported beers.

What is the deadline to buy tickets at the presale price?

February 14th, 2019.

Can I use a prepaid credit card or gift card to buy tickets online?


I cannot attend the event anymore. May I receive a reimbursement?

No, tickets are not refundable.

I purchased my ticket for the wrong date. Can I exchange it?

Yes, but only until February 7th, 2019 by sending a request by email to ottawa@brewfest.ca

Is it possible to buy tickets elsewhere than online?


Is it possible to buy tickets at the door?

Tickets may be available at the door at the regular price of $28.00 (tx incl.) if the event isn’t sold out.

What is the advantage of purchasing my ticket in advance?

You save 20% off the regular ticket price and guaranteed access to the event.

At what time does the event box office close?

The box office will close one hour before the end of each session.

Is my ticket valid for all sessions?

No, it is only available for the session written on the ticket.

Is it possible to validate my presale ticket directly on my smart phone?

Yes, it’s possible.

Can I receive my products purchased online by mail?

No, products bought online are collected at the entrance to the event.

If I bought two tickets in the same transaction, do both people have to present themselves at the same time?

No. Each ticket bought will generate a single electronic ticket.

Can BrewBucks be purchased at the event?

Yes, BrewBucks will be available for purchase on site.

What are BrewBucks for?

They are used to purchase beer and food samples.

How many BrewBucks are required for a beer sample (4 oz.)?

On average, 4 oz. beer samples will require between 3-4 BrewBucks ($3-4).

How many BrewBucks are required for food samples?

On average, food samples require between 6 and 12 BrewBucks.

How many different kinds of beers will there be?

There will be over 150 different kinds of beers.

How many breweries will be represented?

There will be over 35 breweries from Ontario and Quebec.

Is there Parking?

There is underground parking at Lansdowne Park. There is also parking on the neighboring streets.

Is it possible to get to the event for free with OC Transpo?

Your printed presale ticket gets you free service on all OC Transpo routes, starting three hours before the event until three hours after the event. If you’re buying your ticket at the door, regular OC Transpo fares apply for travel to the event, so buy your ticket in advance!

How do I get to Lansdowne?

There are many great ways to get to Lansdowne! Lansdowne Park is well served by OC Transpo Routes 1 and 7. To plan your trip using transit, use the OC Transpo Trip planning tool

Underground parking at Lansdowne is available but is very limited.  Ottawa Winter Brewfest festivalgoers are encouraged to carpool or take alternate modes of transportation such as transit, taxi, skating or walking. For more information on parking at Lansdowne, please visit the TD Place website.  Nearby parking is also available at the City of Ottawa parking facility located on Bank Street and Second Avenue. Please visit City of Ottawa – transportation and parking for more info on City parking facilities.

What is the format of the tasting glass?

In order to be environmentally responsible, you will receive a 10oz Ecocup reusable plastic glass. A limited amount of souvenir glasses will also be available for purchase.

Can I bring my own glass?


Which payment method will be accepted to buy BrewBucks?

Credit cards and cash will be accepted.

Will there be an ATM machine on site?

Yes, there will be ATMs inside.

Is the event accessible to people with reduced mobility?


Is the event open to all ages?

No. The event is for those 19 and over. Make sure to have ID with you.

Is there a smoking section?

By-law does not allow smoking in outdoor public areas. Smoking will only be allowed off the Lansdowne Park grounds.

Is there a coat check?

Yes, at the cost of $3.
